METRAC's May Be Me Campaign: Join UsMonday, May 13 2013
Information from METRAC: METRAC (the Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children) launched the May Be Me Campaign in 2012 to bring attention to prevention of violence against women and youth. We want the campaign to grow to support not only our violence prevention initiatives, but also those of other groups and organizations doing this work.
We hope you will participate by:

- attending our interesting awareness-raising events and free webinars.
- sending your violence prevention resources so we can share it with attendees at our May 31 Celebration Night featuring DJ Denise Benson (The Grid). Prevention Initiative Contest At our May 31 Celebration Night, we will officially announce the launch of our May Be Me prevention initiaitve contest. Here, groups and organizations will submit their violence prevntion projects and have a chance to win a cash prize to go toward it. Entries will be featured online and people will have the chance to vote on their favourites.
