New Issue of Women's Health & Urban LifeWednesday, June 5 2013
A new special Graduate Student issue of Women’s Health & Urban Life (WH & UL) has been released. The papers and book reviews presented in this issue serve as a conversation between and among the social, biomedical, and human sciences. The authors have adopted interdisciplinary analyses that enrich our understanding of the conditions they research, and help gender and health researchers combine the social with the biological.
The WH & UL is a peer reviewed journal located at the Sociology Department at the University of Toronto. The journal addresses a wide range of topics that directly or indirectly affect both the physical and mental health of girls, teenage and adult women living in urban or urbanizing pockets of the world.
