Research Study on Racial Profiling of Women in the Community, Toronto, ONTuesday, October 7 2014
Are you a woman who has experienced racial profiling? That is, have you ever been subject to additional scrutiny or surveillance or closer examination because of your race, religion or place of origin? If so, we would like to talk to you.
Researchers from Ryerson University are conducting a study on women’s experiences with racial profiling by:
- police or security guards
- border officials
- child welfare authorities
- social assistance authorities
- other authorities or government institutions
We would like to conduct a confidential, private interview with you about your experiences. The interview will take about 45 minutes, and can be arranged at a place and time convenient for you. You will receive $20, plus 2 TTC tokens.
