Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES)
Launched in 1992, the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) is an independent, non-profit organization with a mandate to conduct health services research that contributes to the effectiveness, quality, equity and efficiency of health care in Ontario. ICES receives its core funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. Researchers also successfully compete for major grants and awards that supplement the ICES research agenda.
Through the addition of new databases, recruiting new staff and researchers, ICES continues to broaden its research capacity and build upon its diverse disciplines and expertise. Partnerships also play a key role in ICES' research and dissemination efforts.
The ICES website includes research reports and articles that can be viewed online or downloaded. Their website features a full search capacity engine.
